Introduction to Coppera
Fungicide
Coppera (Pyraclostrobin 100g/L + Copper Oxychloride 300g/L SC) has a unique formula with obvious synergy and multiple benefits. Copper Oxychloride has multi-site contact function and protective ability. The released copper ions act on the -SH, -N2H, -COOH, -OH, and other groups in the proteins of fungi, bacteria, or viruses. The copper ions penetrate the pathogen cells and denature and coagulate the proteins. Pyraclostrobin, on the other hand, has a protective and curative effect by inhibiting the mitochondrial respiration of pathogenic fungi.

Performance Results
1.1 Test purpose
Apple Alternaria Leaf Spot is caused by infection with Alternaria mali rob. and primarily affects apple leaves and can also cause damage to petioles, annual branches, and fruits. The premature leaf fall weakens the tree, reduces fruit yield and quality, and increases susceptibility to other bacterial infections during storage, eventually resulting in rotting. This disease is endemic in apple-producing regions worldwide. The purpose of this study is to verify the control effect of Coppera on Apple Altermaria Leaf Spot.

1.3 Results
The data reflect applications on 5/26, 6/6, and 6/20 in 2016. Control Effectiveness was tested on 7/4. The test field was located in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. The test variety was the “Red Fuji” Apple. The experiment was conducted at the spring shoot stage of the apple.
1.4 Conclusion
Under the conditions of this experiment, Coppera was safe for the tested apple varieties. It had a better control effect on apple altermaria leaf spot than the control group. Therefore, Coppera can be used for the prevention and treatment of apple altermaria leaf spot and the recommended active ingredient amount is 160-240 mg/kg.
